"HE FEELS YOUR PAIN"..................................(Hebrews 4:14-16)

To admit that you have been "touched" is to say that someone's circumstance or situation has affected your life in some way. * Websters defines "touched" as: "to percieve through contact, a sensation produced by contact, to initially establish contact....or simply put---two things touch"!

"INFIRMITY" can manifest itself in different ways. There is a psyhcological infirmity that plagues many; or the physical infirmity of illness...then there is the spiritual infirmity in which all of humanity shares! But this verse does not isolate nor exclude ANY! It just says INFIRMITIES in plural, as if to be all-inclusive!!!

(Matt. 8:17-"That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our INFIRMITIES, and bare our SICKNESSES.")

(1)-HE FEELS THE PAIN OF DEATH-(John 11:32-"Jesus wept")

(Heb. 2:9-"But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should TASTE DEATH FOR EVERY MAN.")

(2)-HE FEELS THE PAIN OF DIVORCE-(John 4-woman at well)

There are many who would wonder how Jesus could understand this, seeing that he never married in his lifetime. But remember, he is God in-the-flesh, and knows all things!

(3)-HE FEELS THE PAIN OF DISABILITY -(Blind/Lepers/Crippled/short!)

(Matt. 20:31,34-".....they cried the more saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou son of David. So Jesus HAD COMPASSION ON THEM, and TOUCHED their eyes, and immediately their eyes recieved sight...")

(4)-HE FEELS THE PAIN OF DISAPPOINTMENT-(Emmaus road)

(Luke 24:17,21-"Jesus said to them...What manner of communications are these that ye have one to another as ye WALK, AND ARE SAD?....We trusted it have been he which should have redeemed israel; and beside this, today is the third day!")

(5)-HE FEELS THE PAIN OF BEING DESPISED-(Isaiah 53- read some )

(6)-HE FEELS THE PAIN OF BEING DOLLARLESS-(Luke 16-Lazerus)

(Matt. 8:19-20-"A scribe came and said unto him, Master, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest. And Jesus said...The foxes have holes, the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.")

(7)-HE FEELS THE PAIN OF DECISIONMAKING-(Gethsemane)

*For you it may be a CAREER, CALLING, PURCHASE, RELATIONSHIP?

(8)-HE FEELS THE PAIN OF DENYING SELF-(Matt.4-wilderness tempt
